Privacy Policy for National Spiritual Science Center Historical Society

Revised: February 20, 2025

1. Introduction

The National Spiritual Science Center Historical Society (NSSCHS) values your privacy and is committed to protecting any personal information you provide. This privacy policy outlines what information we collect, how it is used, and how it is handled.

2. Information We Collect

We collect and process only the information necessary to fulfill our spiritual and ministerial functions. This includes:

Healing Requests (via secure intake form):

    • Name, email address, and details regarding your healing request.

Ministerial Credential Verification (via email):

    • A copy of an ordination certificate from the National Spiritual Science Center (NSSC) or the Baltimore Spiritual Science Center for inclusion in the alumni directory.
    • If an ordination certificate is unavailable, we may collect letters from three (3) ordained Spiritual Science ministers who can verify the individual’s ordination.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is only used for its intended purpose and is not stored, shared, or retained beyond what is necessary.

    • Healing Requests: Used solely for spiritual and healing purposes.
    • Ministerial Credential Verification: Used exclusively to confirm alumni status and update the directory.

4. Information Retention & Security

    • Healing requests are submitted via a secure intake form and processed in real-time. They are not stored for future reference.
    • Ministerial credential verification is conducted via email and remains ongoing until the verification process is complete.
    • We do not print, store, or archive any submitted information beyond necessary communication.

5. Updating Your Information

Since we do not maintain ongoing records:

    • If you wish to submit a new healing request, you are free to do so at any time.
    • If you are in the credential verification process, it remains active until completion. If additional documentation is required, you will be contacted.

6. Sharing Your Information

    • We do not share, sell, or distribute personal information with any third parties.
    • All information submitted remains confidential and is used solely for its intended purpose.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect submitted information. However, please note that:

    • Healing requests are submitted through a secure third-party intake system.
    • Credential verification is conducted via email, which is not an inherently secure method of transmission.
    • If you have concerns about privacy, consider using encrypted email services when sending sensitive information.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

    • Submit new healing requests at any time. Healing requests are processed when received and are not stored.
    • Complete the credential verification process. This process remains active until a minister is fully verified.
    • Request deletion of email correspondence. If you wish for any emails related to your submission to be deleted, you may request this at any time.
    • Opt out of submitting personal information. While the website does not require personal information, submitting a healing request or credential verification requires certain details (such as name, email, or ordination proof) to process your request. If you prefer not to provide this information, you may choose not to submit a request.

9. Cookies & Tracking

Our website does not use cookies or tracking technologies.

10. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to external websites (e.g., spiritual resources, archives). We are not responsible for their privacy policies or practices.
