Spiritual Science – Distant Healing

Distant Healing: How It Works
Spiritual Science distant healing, as practiced at the National Spiritual Science Center (NSSC), is rooted in ancient teachings.
At NSSC, healing was taught through both theory and practicum. While in-person healing involved focused, off-body energy work directed to the body’s energy system, distant healing was often practiced in a simplified group setting through prayer and the visualization of individuals as whole, balanced, and in perfect health.
However, Spiritual Science healing training does not produce identical healers. It develops wisdom, discernment, and technique for adaptation. Each minister is responsible for applying what they learned as it aligns with God in service to themselves and others.
As a result, distant healing within Spiritual Science is not limited to a fixed methodology. Some ministers continue the traditional approach of prayer and visualization, while others apply the same principles of energy healing used in in-person practice — at a distance.
In all cases, the healer serves as a conduit. The work is carried out under divine authority, with the healee’s soul in agreement to receive the energy as it is directed through the body.
Distant healing requires the willingness to receive. Therefore, healing and prayer requests should be submitted with permission.
At the conclusion of each session, the healer releases the connection, gives thanks to God for the opportunity to serve, and allows the healing work to continue according to the individual’s desire to recover and God’s will.
Each person’s experience is different. Some may notice gradual changes, while others may experience what they consider a miracle. All outcomes remain in God’s hands.
If nothing appears to change, do not view this as defeat. Healing is not always immediate or visible, and each individual’s path is different. Spiritual healing supports you where you are and works in ways that are not always seen.
