Call for Professional Research Volunteers

Metaphysical Research & Historical Review

The National Spiritual Science Center Historical Society welcomes qualified volunteers interested in documented metaphysical history and archival research related to the Spiritual Science movement.

Current research focuses on the historical progression from the Ecclesiastical Society and Mother Church, to the First Church of Spiritual Science (Washington, DC), and the National Spiritual Science Center, including affiliated ministers, publications, and organizational transitions.

Of particular interest are metaphysical periodicals, including The Psychic Observer and Psychic Observer and Chimes, especially editions from 1968 onward, where gaps in publicly available archives remain.

Volunteers may assist with:

    • Historical review and source verification

    • Timeline reconstruction and cross-referencing

    • Archival clarity and presentation support

This opportunity is best suited for individuals with experience in research, writing, editing, or archival work, and who possess or have access to relevant publications or documented source material.

Those interested are invited to contact us to discuss possible areas of collaboration.
